Jan is a Class A member of the LPGA Teaching and Club Professional Division.  She has been a teaching professional for over twenty years and has taught 5 year olds to 95 year olds, men and women, professional golfers and new golfers.  She also served as Director of Instruction at two golf schools.

Jan has been a professional golfer since 1984. A graduate of Indiana University with a degree in Business Management, Jan was the 1983 Indiana Women's State Amateur Champion and played on the Indiana University women's golf team for four years.

Jan competed on the LPGA tour from 1991 until 1994 and has played in seven U.S. Women's Open Championships.  She won multiple times on mini tours including two wins on the Futures Tour. Jan was also medalist at the national qualifier for the Women's Senior Tour in 2006.
